    Dr. Alexandra Zapata

    Lead Dentist

    Dr. Alexandra Zapata practiced dentistry for over 18 years in Colombia and has been practicing dentistry in Canada since 2017 after completing the NDEB equivalency process, and Canadian Board exams, and obtained her license with The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario to practice in the province of Ontario. Dr. Zapata is now an asset to Two Lakes Dental. She is known for her gentle touch, charisma, and amiable personality that bring to our practice the high quality of care and the most comfortable dental experience.
    She is fluent in Spanish and English. Dr. Zapata has her Fellow in Oral Surgery, and a  diploma in Cosmetic Dentistry from Santiago de Cali, Colombia.  Dr. Zapata is committed to continuing education completing training in different fields of dentistry and a mini-residency in Implantology.  She is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Canadian Dental Association (CDA), and The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
    When not in the office, Dr. Zapata enjoys dancing, cooking, and traveling with her family on hiking/camping trips.

    I had a lot of pain, inflammation and ongoing infection in the pre molar. The dentist performed a root canal and the pain is gone, no more inflammation or infection. The doctor did an amazing job. Thanks as well to all the staff.

    I can't say enough about Dr. Alexandra Zapata and her staff, my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was greeted by Kyla with warmth and professionalism, instantlly making me feel comfortable. I had a detal emergency due to a badly broken front tooth, and I couldn't be happier with the level of urgency and treatment I received. Dr. Zapata took the time to explain my treatment and what she was doing through the entire process. Her assistant was also very empathetic and made me feel very well cared for. As a new patient, I am very pleased with the quick response to book an emergency appointment at Two Lakes Dental. The front desk staff, Rose and Kyla, are wonderful, and the office is super clean and beautifully maintained. This is a wonderful family-friendly office. I would highly recommend Two Lakes Dental to anyone needing exceptional dental work in Niagara. I can confidently smile again! Thank you.
